Steps For Issuer (Drawer ) Processing:

  • Agree to the banks T&C prior scanning and submitting.
  • Scan front side of cheque to capture the cheque MICR information.
  • Enter cheque amount (mandatory)

  • Success message will appear upon submission.
  • Present the cheque to the beneficiary.

Steps For Beneficiary (Depositor) Processing:

  • Beneficiary has to login to his account through CBK mobile app, then go to “Extra” and click on “Cheque Deposit Request”.
  • Agree to the banks T&C prior scanning and submitting.

  • Beneficiary to enter the amount (mandatory).
  • Select Account Type for the amount to be credited.

  • By login into you CBK Mobile Application you will find the electronic dividends service under Home/Extra.
  • Log into your CBK Online account and select “Electronic Dividends Transfer Service” under Other Services.
  • Select which account you want to credit when the dividends distribution process takes place by KCC.

In continuation of its efforts to keep up with the new payment technologies, Al-Tijari Debit, Credit and Prepaid Cards now support contactless  NFC technology, a service under the name of “Tap It”, which allows cardholders to pay quickly and easily, without having to enter their PIN number.

Details of Tap It service:

Debit Cardholders

  • PIN entry is not required for local transaction purchase of less than KWD 25
  • The maximum amount of local transaction purchase without PIN entry is KWD 25 per day.
  • The maximum amount of international transaction purchase without PIN entry is KWD 50 or equivalent in foreign currency.
  • Once you exceed KD 25 per day in local transaction purchases you will be asked to enter the PIN number whereby the number of contactless transaction will be reset.

Credit Cardholders

  • PIN entry is not required for purchases that are KWD 25 or less.
  • The maximum amount for purchase and number of transactions without PIN entry and is dependent on card type as per the below contactless (NFC) table:

Cardholders can also control contactless (NFC) transactions limit by activating or deactivating the feature through AlTijari Mobile or CBK Online.

Welcome to AL Tijari Instapay. Now, CBK accountholder will be able to invoice any local debit cardholder using CBK Online/Mobile Banking services. A message is generated to the payer to settle the indicated amount for the given description. Upon clicking the link, the payer will be redirected to the Knet Payment Gateway (PG) and payee will be able to settle from any local debit card. Upon successful transaction, CBK accountholder will be credited instantly.

How to use AL-Tijari InstaPay:

  • CBK accountholder should be logged in into CBK on line /Mobile application.
  • Go to InstaPay option, enter the payer name, Mobile number, Amount, Select the account to be credited, Flag agree to the terms and conditions then submit to initiate an SMS link to the payer.

It’s a fast, convenient and simple way to make cash available from your accounts to yourself or family and friends through SMS to any mobile in Kuwait.

Steps for using Cardless Cash Withdrawal service:

  • Log in to www.cbk-online.com or CBK mobile App.
  • Go to Other Services and select ‘Cardless withdrawals’, or go to Transfer tab on mobile app and select Cardless withdrawals.
  • Choose the account you want to debit the amount from.
  • Enter mobile number and confirm.
  • Enter the amount then enter your ATM pin number.
  • Select the language for the SMS to be sent then click submit.
  • The recipient will receive an SMS with a 16-digit code on their mobile which will be used to withdraw cash from any CBK ATM machine.
  • Go to your nearest CBK ATM machine, touch the screen or any button then choose Cardless Cash Withdrawal.
  • Enter the received code number and get your cash.

2. Before sending money, you must add the Beneficiary's information by clicking on 'Beneficiaries' then 'Add Beneficiary'.  Fill in the required fields (first name, last name, country, currency in which you want to transfer the amount and nickname) then click on 'Submit'.

3. After Successfully adding your beneficiary you will be contacted by our call center for activation. (You can add as many beneficiaries as needed.)

4. To start transferring money, click on 'Send' then choose which of your accounts you want to transfer money from and select which beneficiary you want to send the money to.

5. Select the type of method in which you want to send the money (either net in KWD or the exact amount of destination currency) then click 'Proceed'. (If you have a Western Union Gold Card, enter the number in the box).

6. Review the details of the transfer and charges then click 'Proceed'

7. Agree on Western Union's Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, then enter your ATM card number and PIN to finalize the transaction. Once the transaction is approved, you will see the  MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) number on the screen.

8. Send the provided MTCN number to the beneficiary in order to collect the money at any of Western Union Branch in the destination country.

Forwarded by buyer to beneficiary who presents it to drawee Bank for payment.

Starlink Plus service provides you beneficial solutions to solve your cash emergencies!
This service allows you to use up to 50% of your monthly salary in advance and repay it automatically once your salary is credited to your account.

Starlink plus limit can be transferred to your account in addition to settling the outstanding amount via CBK Mobile App and Internet banking.

Pricing and Set up Fees:

  • KD 10/- as a one-time set up fee.
  • ATM, CBK mobile, and internet banking withdrawal fees is 4% of withdrawn amount (Minimum KD 1/-).
  • Minimum salary to be eligible for the service is KD 300
  • Minimum facility line KD 150 and Maximum KD 1,500
