Process Steps for The Issuer (Drawer) & Beneficiary (Depositor).
Steps For Issuer (Drawer ) Processing:

  • Issuer to Login to CBK mobile app (mobile should be updated version).
  • Select “cheque entry” related to the current account linked to the cheque book.
  • Agree to the banks T&C prior scanning and submitting.
  • Scan front side of cheque to capture the cheque MICR information.
  • Enter cheque amount (mandatory)
  • Enter beneficiary name (optional) and submit.
  • Success message will appear upon submission.
  • Present the cheque to the beneficiary.


Steps For Beneficiary (Depositor) Processing:

  • Beneficiary has to login to his account through CBK mobile app, then go to “Extra” and click on “Cheque Deposit Request”.
  • Agree to the banks T&C prior scanning and submitting.
  • Scan front side of cheque to capture the cheque MICR information.
  • Beneficiary to enter the amount (mandatory).
  • Select Account Type for the amount to be credited.
