Fitbit Pay is a contactless (NFC, Near Field Communication) payment solution that enables you to make in-store purchases with selected Fitbit trackers and smartwatches. It is a secure, fast and easy form of payment that will save you the hassle of carrying cash or using your physical card. All you need is your Fitbit watch!


Who is eligible to use Fitbit Pay?

  • All Al-Tijari Mastercard Debit, Credit and Prepaid Cardholders using any of the accepted Fitbit models can start using Fitbit Pay.

  • Fitbit Ionic
  • Fitbit Sense
  • Fitbit Versa 2, Versa 3 and Versa Special Edition
  • Fitbit Charge 4
  • Fitbit Charge 3 special edition


How to activate the service?

  • To get started, you must first download the latest version of the Fitbit app on your smartphone (iOS and Android) and make sure your Fitbit device is charged.
  • Open the Fitbit App on your phone and navigate to your Fitbit device settings.
  • Tap Fitbit Wallet and follow the instructions to add your card.
  • If you haven't created a PIN code for your Fitbit device, you will be asked to set one. 4 digit Pin code needs to be entered once every 24 hours and each time you remove the Fitbit device from your wrist and wear it again.
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions.
  • Enter the Authentication Code (OTP) sent by SMS to your registered mobile number on our system.
  • Once you’re done, Fitbit Pay will sync the activated card to your Fitbit device via Bluetooth.
  • After you complete one-time set up for Fitbit Pay, you can make payments from your Fitbit device even without having your phone nearby.


Where can you use Fitbit Pay?

  • Any store that has contactless POS machine or any NFC device.


How to make a payment with Fitbit Pay?

  • Press and hold the left button on select Fitbit device for 2 seconds.
  • Enter your 4-digit watch PIN code.
  • Select your desired Al-Tijari card on the device screen.
  • To pay with your default card, hold your wrist near the contactless payment terminal.
  • When the payment succeeds, your Fitbit device shall vibrate and you’ll see a confirmation on the screen and a push notification will be displayed, if enabled on your smartphone through the Fitbit App.
  • To see your recent transactions, visit the Wallet in the Fitbit app, select your Al-Tijari card and then scroll down to see your 3 most recent transactions.

Now, Al Tijari is offering its customers a convenient “frictionless” and “contactless” payment experience that enables customers to make in-store payments by using their smartphone device which, is also linked to their CBK Mobile Application.
It’s secure, quick and simple, to make a transaction, all the customer has to do is hold their mobile device over the payment reader through a near field technology Communication “NFC” for the transaction to be processed.

How to Activate the Service

  • Login to your CBK Mobile App.
  • Under the Cards tab, select the card you would like to digitize to the Wallet by clicking on “Digitize Card”
  • Enter Card Expiry Date and CVV Number
  • You will receive an OTP for confirmation
  • Accept Terms & Conditions

FAQs.

  • Who can use this feature?
    Only MasterCard Debit, Credit and Prepaid Cardholders who have an Android phone that supports NFC.
  • How many cards can I register to my wallet?
    You are able to add an unlimited number of MasterCard Debit, Credit and Prepaid cards, whereas only one card can be set as a Primary Card.
  • If there is insufficient balance in the primary card in the wallet, what will happen?
    The transaction will be declined
  • Can I set two cards as a primary?
    No, only one card can be set as primary card at one given time. However, you may choose to change the primary card whenever you wish from within the CBK Mobile app, simply by clicking on the wallet tab and selecting on the 3 dots icon located at the bottom right-hand corner of the card.
  • How to make a payment transaction?
    Simply hold your Smartphone device on a contactless Payment Terminal (POS) for the transaction to be processed.
  • How can I deactivate, delete or update my cards on the wallet?
    You can login to your CBK Mobile App or through the bank’s contact center
  • Does my physical card get affected if I delete or deactivate the registered card on the wallet?
    No.
  • Can I make in-store international transactions?
    Yes, as long as it’s a contactless Payment Terminal (POS)
  • Can I use my Tijari Wallet to make online transactions?
    No, only in-store transactions with an enabled contactless Payment Terminal (POS)
  • Should mobile device be NFC enabled?
    Yes.
  • Can I register my cards on my wallet using an iOS Operating System (iPhone)?
    No, the service is currently available for Android phones only.

How to connect Garmin Pay?

  • Download the latest Garmin Connect app on your smartphone.
  • Open the app, go to the Garmin Devices section, and choose your watch.
  • Select Garmin Pay.
  • Click on Create your Wallet
  • Next create a 4 digits passcode to keep your digital wallet secured
  • Once done, you will need to add at least one card to your wallet to make payments by selecting your card and then following the instructions for adding the card
  • Read and accept the Terms & Conditions
  • Verify your identity by entering the Authentication Code (OTP) sent by SMS to your registered mobile number on our system.
  • Once this is done, your card will be added to the wallet.


How to pay with Garmin Pay?

  • Press and hold the light key to bring up the control’s menu.
  • Select the wallet icon.
  • Enter your 4 digits passcode if prompted (you will be required to enter your passcode every 24 hours or each time you remove the Garmin device from your wrist and wear it again)
  • Choose the card you want to pay with by scrolling up or down on the watch screen.
  • To pay, hold your wrist near the contactless terminal in the store.
  • When the payment succeeds, a green tick mark will appear on the screen
