REGISTRATION AND LOGIN


1. How do I register for Al-Tijari Rewards account?


To register please follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to tijarirewards.cbk.com and click the Sign-Up button on the top right-hand corner. You will be taken to a registration page. Input the requested information and click Register.
Step 2: You will be taken to a Verified by Visa screen where you will be asked to enter the OTP received by SMS.
Step 3: Once the OTP has been validated by our system, you will receive an email with a registration successful response message and an activation link.
Step 4: Open the email and click on the activation link to activate your account.
Step 5: The link will redirect you to the Al-Tijari Rewards login page with an activation successful message.


2. How do I login to my reward account?

Go to tijarirewards.cbk.com If you are a registered user, click the Login button and enter your email address and password. If you have not registered for your Al-Tijari Rewards account, follow the instructions provided in Q1 above.


3. Can I use my CBK online banking credentials to login on the Al-Tijari Rewards website?

No, you need to register separately for Al-Tijari Rewards account using the process described in Q1 above.


4. Can I access the Al-Tijari Rewards through CBK website?

Yes, we have added a link on CBK website to redirect you to Al-Tijari rewards website.


EARNING REWARD POINTS


5. How do I earn reward points?

You can earn reward points every time you use your Visa Gold Credit Card, Visa Platinum Credit Card and Visa Infinite Credit Card to pay for your purchases on POS or online. Here is a summary of the points earned per 1KD by product and by type of transaction:

6. How soon will the reward points appear in my reward account after I make a transaction on my card?

Points earned on purchase transactions made on your card are credited to your reward account within 2 to 3 business days, but it may take up to 14 business days for few transactions to appear on your card statement.


7. How do I know the total points I have available?

Once logged in to your reward account on tijarirewards.cbk.com, the available points are displayed on the upper right hand side of the navigation menu bar. You can also click on the Welcome section in the top right corner and choose Points Statement to view details of your reward account.  The Points Statement includes the points earned and redeemed by transaction.


8. For how long are my Rewards Points valid?

Your Rewards Points are valid for three years.


MANAGING MY REWARD ACCOUNT


9. How can I reset my Al-Tijari Rewards account password if I forget it?

Go to tijarirewards.cbk.com, click on Login then on “Forgot your Password”. Select one of the 2 online options to reset your password. A third option to reset your password is through contacting our Call Center.


If you select option 1:
A valid card currently linked to my reward account
Enter the card number and expiry date. Click on Captcha (I’m not a robot) and click Submit.
You will be redirected to the Verified by Visa page where you will enter the one-time password sent to your mobile phone and/or email address.
Once your one-time password is verified, you will be redirected to a page where you can create your new password. You will then be redirected to the login page where you can login with your email address and new password.  You will also receive an email confirming the change of password.


If you select option 2:
My verified email address
Enter your email address and mobile number used when you registered for the reward program. Click on Captcha (I’m not a robot) and click Submit. You will receive an email with the verification code.
Enter the verification code on the reward program website and click Submit.
Once you successfully input the verification code, you will be redirected to a page where you can create your new password. You will then be redirected to the login page where you can login with your email address and new password.  You will also receive an email confirming the change of password. 
   
If you select option 3: A verification code provided by the call center
Contact the call center on 1888225 and request your verification code. After validating your account by the call center, a verification code will be sent to your registered email address.
Visit tijarirewards.cbk.com, click Login and click the “Click here to reset your password” link.
Enter your email address and click Submit.
Enter the verification code sent to your email address on the reward program website and click Submit.
Once you successfully input the verification code, you will be redirected to a page where you can create your new password. You will then be redirected to the login page where you can login with your email address and new password.  You will also receive an email confirming the change of password.


10. What is a valid card?

A valid card is a Visa Gold Credit Card, Visa Platinum Credit Card and Visa Infinite Credit Card linked to your reward account that has not expired.


11. What is a verified email address?

A verified email address is an email address registered with the reward program and has completed the verification process.  You can verify your email address at the time of registration in the reward program.


12. How do I verify my email address at the time of registration?

Once you have registered in the reward program, you will receive a welcome email with a verification link.  Click on this link to verify your email address. 
Note that the verification link is active for 20 minutes from the time you receive the email.
If you are not able to click the link within 20 minutes, please refer to the following question.


13. I did not verify my email address when I registered in the reward program. How do I verify my email address now?

Login to your reward account on tijarirewards.cbk.com, upon login you will be informed that your email address hasn’t been verified yet. Click on “Click here to resend verification email”, you will receive an email with a verification link.  Click on this link to verify your email address.  The link will redirect you to Al-Tijari Rewards website (tijarirewards.cbk.com) login page with a message showing the activation was successful.


14. What happens if I enter my reward account password incorrectly multiple times?

If you enter your password incorrectly 3 times in a row, your account will be locked for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes the account will be automatically unlocked.


15. How do I know which cards are linked to my reward account and how can I link additional cards?

Once logged into your reward account, click on the Welcome section in the top right corner and choose Enrolls Cards to view the cards that are already linked to your reward account. You can choose to enroll additional cards, enter the card details (Number, Expiry month and Year) and confirm.


16. I have several CBK cards. Can I check the points earned on each card?

Once logged into your reward account, click on the Welcome section in the top right corner and choose Points Statement to view details of your reward account.  The description is available on each transaction record.


17. My CBK card is expired/lost/stolen and I received a new card from the bank.  What should I do in this case?

To ensure that your reward points are up to date, you must link your new card to your reward account. Please follow instructions in question 15 above to link your new card to your reward account.
You may remove or de-link the old card by following these steps:

Step 1: Login to your reward account on tijarirewards.cbk.com
Step 2: Click on the Welcome section in the top right corner and choose Enroll Cards
Step 3: Under “Your Cards” you will be able to see a list of the cards linked to your account. Select the one(s) to remove and click on the red (x) icon.
Step 4: You will get a popup asking you to confirm the removal of the card(s), you will need to click on Proceed.


18. My CBK card is expired/lost/stolen and I received a new card from the bank, however I forgot to link it to my reward account right away. Will I lose all the reward points I acquired while using my new card before linking it?

No, you will not lose any of your points. All reward points will be added automatically to your reward program as soon as you link your new card.


19. I recently made a purchase transaction and then delinked my card from my reward account.  Why don’t I see the points earned on this transaction?

Reward points are earned after purchase transaction has been settled and appears on your card statement – this is typically within 1 to 3 business days.  If you delink your card before the purchase transaction has settled, you will not see points earned on this transaction in your reward account.


20. Can I update my profile and personal details?

Yes, you can update your profile and personal details by logging into your account on tijarirewards.cbk.com. Once logged in, you can manage all your profile information. Members are encouraged to keep their profile information up to date to better benefit from the vast variety of rewards.


REDEEMING REWARD POINTS


21. What can I redeem my reward points for?

You can choose to redeem your points for:

  • Travel [i.e. Flights, Hotels and Cars rentals]
  • Cashback


22. How can I redeem my reward points for Travel?

Log in to tijarirewards.cbk.com, click on Travel in the top Menu. You can choose to redeem your points for Flights, Hotels and Cars rentals. Once you choose your travel option, enter your travel details to get the available options you can book.


23. How can I redeem my reward points for Cashback?

Upon purchasing from any partner of Al-Tijari Rewards program for KD 5 or above, and if you have enough points in your account, you will get an SMS* asking you if you would like to get cash back of your last purchase in exchange for certain number of points.
If you wish to perform the cash back, click on the link* available in the SMS and your credit card account will be credited in cash and your reward points will be deducted accordingly. If you do not wish to perform the cash back, you may just ignore the link.

*Note: The SMS link you receive is valid for a period of 48 hours only.


24. Who are the merchants participating in Al-Tijari Rewards program?
You can redeem your purchases at all coffee shops, Restaurants, Coop, Supermarkets and Hypermarkets in Kuwait for all purchases of KD 5 and above.


25. If I don’t have enough points, can I pay the difference by Card?

Yes, you can do so by paying the remaining amount using any of your CBK Debit or Credit Cards.
