Al-Tijari Sponsors Outstanding Secondary School Students Honoring Ceremony in Al-Jahra Governorate

Commercial Bank of Kuwait (Al-Tijari) sponsored a ceremony to honor outstanding secondary school students who achieved top ranks across Al-Jahra Governorate. Held at the Governorate Headquarter, the event comes as part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility program and its ongoing contributions to social events organized by civil society institutions and Kuwait’s governorates. This initiative also falls under Al-Tijari’s support and sponsorship program for various educational and social events, coordinated in advance with Kuwait six governorates.

The ceremony was held under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the Governor of Al-Jahra, Mr. Hamad Jassim Al-Habashi, Ms. Amani Al-Waraa, Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Communication Division at the Bank, and Mr. Mahmoud Abdulredha, Director of Educational Affairs for Al-Jahra Educational District.

His Excellency, the Governor Mr. Hamad Jassim Al-Habashi praised Al-Tijari’s initiatives, which aim to provide comprehensive support and care for social, educational, and health events organized by Al-Jahra Governorate. He highlighted that this ceremony was held in appreciation of the students' dedication and perseverance throughout the school year, as well as to encourage them for continued excellence. The Governor extended his best wishes to the honorees for continued success in their future endeavors.

In the same context, Ms. Amani Al-Waraa, Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Communication Division, said: "The Bank is committed to providing every form of support and sponsorship for educational and academic events, including this ceremony to honor outstanding secondary school students. This stems from our strong belief in the importance of recognizing distinguished students for their academic achievements. We wish them continued success and excellence as they move forward to university."

Ms. Al-Waraa added that sponsoring this notable event—which was highly appreciated by the honored students and their families—underscores the concept of comprehensive social responsibility. This initiative is a part of a dedicated program launched by Al-Tijari several years ago to support social and educational activities organized by Kuwait’s governorates in coordination with relevant authorities.
