Al-Tijari Expands Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service via NFC-Enabled Mobile Digital Wallets at Smart Machines

Commercial Bank of Kuwait (Al-Tijari) reinforces its digital-first banking vision with the rollout of NFC-powered mobile wallet cash withdrawals across its Smart Machines network.
As part of its overarching digital transformation strategy and its commitment to delivering innovative, customer-centric banking solutions, Commercial Bank of Kuwait (Al-Tijari) has officially launched a cardless cash withdrawal service via Near Field Communication (NFC)-enabled mobile wallets at its Smart Machines (STMs). The service is now available across all branches and self-service banking points throughout Kuwait, further strengthening the Bank’s comprehensive suite of cardless transaction capabilities.
Building on the success of its existing cardless cash withdrawal and NFC card-tap features.
Al-Tijari customers can now withdraw funds directly from STMs using NFC-compatible mobile digital wallets, including Apple Wallet, Google Wallet and Samsung wallet. The service is available to holders of debit cards and prepaid cards, offering enhanced flexibility, convenience, and security in their everyday banking transactions.
This advanced service enables customers to access cash without the need to carry a physical card, with their smartphone serving as the sole instrument for authentication and transaction completion. Underpinned by globally recognised NFC technology, the service delivers a secure, swift, and seamless experience that aligns with international digital banking standards.
