Commercial Bank of Kuwait: Sponsoring KISR’s 47th Summer Training Course

Commercial Bank of Kuwait (Al-Tijari) has successfully concluded its sponsorship of the 47th  Summer Training Course, organized by the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) from 12/07/2026 to 13/08/2026. Attended by approximately 200 high school students, the Bank’s sponsorship underscores its commitment to supporting educational initiatives, empowering youth, and promoting financial literacy among younger generations.

Commenting on the occasion, Ms. Badour Bukhamseen, Assistant General Manager - Marketing Department, Retail Banking Division, said: "We are pleased to sponsor KISR’s 47th Summer Training Course, which offers students a comprehensive educational experience to refine their technical and practical skills. Fostering financial awareness among youth is essential for preparing them to make sound financial decisions in the future."

Bukhamseen added that supporting the "Art of Saving" competition highlights the importance of presenting financial perceptions interactively, helping students grasp the value of saving, strategic planning, and resource management. She praised the ongoing collaboration with KISR and commended its high-quality programs that equip youth for future challenges.

The course was concluded with a ceremony at Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Hall at KISR headquarters. During the event, Commercial Bank of Kuwait was honored for its support, and participating students—including the winners of the "Art of Saving" competition—were recognized for adopting sound financial habits early on.

On the sidelines of the closing ceremony, the Bank hosted a dedicated booth showcasing its retail products and services. This enabled students and attendees to explore practical banking solutions, enhancing financial literacy with real-world banking experiences.

Commercial Bank of Kuwait reaffirms its dedicated support for youth and education, continuing to instill financial concepts that foster informed, sustainable financial habits.
