Commercial Bank of Kuwait: CBK Organizes Beach Cleanup Campaign with Staff Participation

As part of its steadfast commitment to corporate social responsibility, Commercial Bank of Kuwait has recently organized a cleanup initiative at the Marina Beach. The initiative aimed to clear the coastlines of litter and debris, protect the marine environment against harmful practices, and promote biodiversity while safeguarding the long-term sustainability of the marine ecosystem. This campaign falls within the Bank's ongoing efforts to achieve the goals of its flagship "Go Green" Campaign, which is designed to foster environmental awareness and contribute to ecological preservation across various fields, through active involvement from Bank employees.

Commenting on the initiative, Amani Al-Wara’a, Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Communications Division, said: "at Commercial Bank, stated: "At Al-Tijari, we firmly believe that protecting our marine environments and shorelines is a key pillar of our social responsibility. Our objective is to support the endeavors aimed at conserving these natural resources, protecting the marine ecosystem from pollution, and instilling a widespread culture of environmental stewardship while underscoring its significance to every segment of society."

She added: "This campaign is part of a broader series of initiatives that the Bank is undertaking under the Go Green umbrella to promote environmental awareness and encourage volunteers across diverse fields—a reflection of our deep-rooted commitment to both the environment and the society."
