Commercial Bank of Kuwait Participates in the Second "Health & Wellness at the Heart of Al-Assima" Initiative

Commercial Bank of Kuwait (Al-Tijari) has recently participated in the national initiative, "Health & Wellness at the Heart of Al-Assima." held  for the second time.  Over three days at Al-Assima Mall, the event was organized under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the Governor of the Capital Governorate, Sheikh/ Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, alongside His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmad Abdulwahab Al-Awadhi, and the Director General of the Environment Public Authority, Ms. Nouf Ali Behbehani. The initiative came in collaboration with multiple entities and drew broad community participation across all age groups.

Al-Tijari’s participation underscores its commitment to supporting social programs that enhance public health practices, encourage active lifestyles, and reinforce an athletic culture and community engagement as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) framework.

Commenting on the event, Amani Al-Wara’a, Deputy General Manager - Corporate Communications Division at Al-Tijari, said: “We are proud to participate for the second time in the ‘Health & Wellness at the Heart of Al-Assima’ initiative. The event saw high engagement from a diverse crowd—including youth, children, the elderly, and people of determination—who enthusiastically took part in walking challenges and step-counting competitions. The initiative also featured a variety of fitness tracks, health awareness workshops, and interactive displays designed to promote healthier daily habits.

According to Amani Al-Wara’a, the efforts of all participating organizations and the strategic partnerships between the public and private sector entities were highly commended. Such efforts have played a pivotal role in driving the success of national health goals.
