Al-Tijari ATMs Network Upgrade with Diebold Nixdorf Self-Service Systems


Commercial Bank of Kuwait is always keen to adopt the latest banking technology in order to achieve more leadership by providing the best banking services through various channels to enhance the customer experience and to ensure its quality and effectiveness, through applying latest technologies, security standards and periodic maintenance. This achievement was accomplished in cooperation with “Axis Solutions” in the framework of a strategic partnership with Al-Tijari.

In this regard, Mrs. Elham Yousry Mahfouz - Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Bank of Kuwait, expressed her happiness with the remarkable and rapid development that the bank is witnessing on the path of digital transformation, saying: “We, at Al-Tijari, continue our successful journey towards digital transformation and keep abreast of the latest developments in banking financial technologies. This is to provide a distinguished banking experience to our customers 24/7 through various banking channels. She explained by saying: “In order to achieve this goal, the bank established a strategic partnership with Axis Solutions, which resulted in a number of distinguished projects, the most important of which is the upgrade of the bank's ATMs with Diebold Nixdorf self-service systems designed according to the latest technologies”. These solutions are compatible with PCI and EMV requirements and provide services pioneering quality and interactivity; Noting in this regard that these devices are designed to assist customers with special needs in deposit and withdrawal operations.

Regarding the details of the advanced services that can be obtained through the new self-service systems, Mahfouz said:  “The Bank seeks to provide services for opening accounts, registering for services, and issuing of cards, checks and instant account statements through Diebold Nixdorf Self-Service Systems”. This will give customers easy access to banking services as well as guarantees the Bank's presence throughout Kuwait, as the new systems offered by the bank are digital bank branches capable of executing the basic operations within the branches in an automatic, immediate and instantaneous manner. According to Ms. Mahfouz, such development comes to reaffirm Al-Tijari’s continuation of its march towards digital transformation, physical and digital presence to provide its customers at any time and from anywhere to always remain the preferred choice for customers.
