Al-Tijari Welcomes the Winner of Al-Najma Mega Draw

At its Head Office, Commercial Bank of Kuwait welcomed Mr. Malayil Moosa Koya, the fifth grand prize winner of “Al-Najma” draw: One and a Half Million Kuwaiti Dinars (KD1,500,000). The Mega Draw was organized at Morouj complex, posted on the Bank’s social media channels, and  live broadcasted on FM360. The draw was held in presence of the representatives of international audit firms «Deloitte & Touche - Al-Wazzan & Partners» and «RSM - Al-Bazie & Partners», and the representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Mr. Ahmad Al-Hamad and Mr. Abdulaziz Ashkanani.

On visiting the Bank, the Winner Mr. Malayil Moosa Koya was welcomed by Acting General Manager - Retail Banking Division, Abdulaziz Al Zaabi, and Deputy General Manager - Corporate Communications Division - Amani Al-Wara and a number of the Bank's Executive Management Team who congratulated him and processed the transaction for handing him the award.

In this regard, Mr. Malayil Moosa Koya expressed his happiness for winning the grand prize: “I am very happy to have won this mega prize of Kuwaiti Dinars One and Half Million (KD 1,500,000) of Al-Najma account, that offers its holders great opportunities to win large cash prizes around the year. I also thank Commercial Bank of Kuwait for offering several savings instruments that give customers the chance  to win fabulous prizes”; said Moosa Koya. He went on pointing that he has been Al-Tijari customer for almost twenty-five years. He praised the innovative banking services and products offered by Al-Tijari to its customers. He concluded wishing good luck for Al-Tijari customers in the upcoming draws.

After completing the procedures for handing over the Prize, the winner invited Al-Tijari Team to his workplace at the Indian International School- Manqaf to attend the ceremony organized by the school administration and students for Mr. Malayil Moosa Koya. The school principal delivered a speech expressing Mr. Malayel's integrity, extreme generosity and continuous giving. All students spontaneously and simultaneously praised the honorable qualities of Mr. Malayil Moosa, who in turn presented flowers to Al-Tijari team as an expression of his thanks and gratitude to Commercial Bank of Kuwait.

Al-Zaabi congratulated the winner of the Grand Prize, underling that the Bank is one of the first banks to launch saving products with chances to customers to win cash prizes. Since the nineties of the last century, the Bank introduced Al-Najma Certificate, which was then converted into Al-Najma Account offering holders multiple chances to win large cash prizes. He accentuated that the Bank has so far awarded five winners of this mega cash prize, the world largest cash prize linked to a bank account. He stressed that Al-Tijari has been keen on providing innovative banking products and services that meet the aspirations and banking needs of its customers, thus enhancing the Bank's leadership in offering digital banking solutions to all customers segments.

Al-Zaabi further added that Al-Tijari customers still have opportunities waiting for them to double their chances and win prizes of Al-Najma Account. The Account offers weekly prizes of KD 5,000, monthly prizes of KD 20,000, and semi-annual prizes of KD 500,000, in addition to the grand annual prize of KD 1,500,000 all offered on Al-Najma Account with Al-Tijari. He explained that the customer can open his account directly through the Bank’s application “CBK Mobile for smartphones and receive his debit card and start transfers to his account without need to visit any branch.

From her part, Amani Al-Wara’a said: “Al-Najma Draw event was organized at Morouj and was accompanied by many entertainment activities during which the lucky winner, Mr. Malayil Moosa Koya was announced the mega prize winner.
