ePayments Terms and Conditions


Bank: shall mean Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK);

Client: shall mean customers of the Bank with active accounts;

Service Facilitator: shall mean any third party service provider, appointed by the Bank to provide various services to Clients. 

Services: shall mean telecom bill payment, all digital and entertainment cards, payment to other 3rd parties   

  • The Client hereby acknowledges that the transaction is being processed by a third party service provider appointed by the Bank /CBK as Service Facilitator.
  • By confirming the telecom bill payment or any purchased digital card transaction, the Client accepts and authorizes the Bank to debit the account for the amount to be paid and further undertakes to maintain sufficient balance in the account to cover all transactions made by the Client pursuant to this Service.
  • The Client may use the account for the purchase of digital cards and bill payment services. The customer acknowledges that the transaction cannot be stopped or reversed once confirmed and debited from the account 
  • The Client  shall be fully responsible and shall be liable for all consequences for any errors resulting from the incorrect entry of any amount or provided  information and shall indemnify the Bank for any damage or loss arising as a result thereof.
  • The Client shall retain transaction details as evidence of payment in case of any subsequent claims.
  • Client claims shall be responded to within 15 working days from the date of submission.
  • Neither the Bank nor the Service Facilitator shall be responsible for any loss or damage caused directly or indirectly as a result of maintenance, a technical error or force majeure .Any amounts refunded to the Client account shall be done by the Service Facilitator – without any liability on the Bank – at its discretion upon receiving written instructions from the Client to this effect. Neither the Bank nor the Service Facilitator shall be responsible for any delays in receiving such instructions.
  • The Bank, at its sole discretion, shall have the right to cancel or amend the Services at any time without prior notice or justification.
  • The Client acknowledges that pricing for foreign currency based products and services are displayed in Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) by the Service Facilitator.
  • All other terms and conditions related to the type of card being used by the Client to complete this transaction shall apply herein.
  • The Client is solely responsible for their online credentials. In case of any unauthorized processed transaction, the Client holds the Bank harmless and acknowledges no liability on the Bank.
  • These terms are construed in accordance with and governed by Kuwait laws. In case of any dispute arising out of the execution of the Services and these terms and conditions, Kuwaiti courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle shall dispute.
